Staff
Bealey’s publicans Richard and Tane Norton have been with The Bealey Avenue Speights Ale House since its opening in 2006. Holding a great rapport with their customers over the years, they have built the Ale House into one of the most successful in the country.
Bealeys Restaurant Manager Paul Foster has overseen the running of the business since its opening day. With varied roles between the bar, functions and restaurant, he has been a familiar face to many over the years, recruiting and training staff to the highest level. Having worked throughout New Zealand in various hospitality roles, he has had a definite influence on the quality of what they achieve at Bealey.
Supporting Paul, and keeping a watchful eye over the venue are their Duty Managers Emma, Mike, Scotty and Belinda.
Scotty (ironically from Scotland) was a member of the team at The Bog Irish bar until February this year.
Belinda joined us from Sol Square following February’s events in the city, after having been full time at Yellow Cross Brewing Company and La Petite Croix.
Emma transferred after 2 years working for the company at The Ferry Ale House.
Their junior bar and restaurant staff are made up of a mixture of travellers, local students and some long term casuals that keep coming back to work with the crew they have down there.
